How Amourprints grew from $2M to $11M in revenue
Amourprints, a Shopify brand selling personalized song-lyric canvas prints, grew from $2M to $11M in revenue while its Meta ads returned 5.5× for a year.
About Amourprints
Amourprints makes personalized canvas prints, like a couple's wedding song printed with their names and the date, sold as keepsake gifts for weddings, anniversaries and birthdays.
The challenge
Plenty of brands can hit a great return on ad spend for a week. The hard part is holding it while spend goes up. Amourprints needed Meta ads that stayed profitable month after month as the business grew, not one lucky week followed by a slump.
What we changed
- Weekly ad testing. New ads went live every week. The ones that sold got more budget and the rest were switched off quickly, so results didn't fade as the same people saw the same ads.
- Budgets set by profit. Spend went up only while the ads stayed above a profit target worked out from the brand's margins, not just while ROAS looked good on a dashboard.
- Product catalog rebuild. We rebuilt their product catalog, so every product appeared with accurate titles, images and prices.
The results
Revenue grew from $2M to $11M, an increase of 450%. Meta, the main channel, brought back $5.50 in revenue for every dollar spent, on average, for twelve months straight.
A high ROAS doesn't guarantee profit on its own, which is why budgets were set by margin first. We explain why in Your ROAS looks great. So why isn't your Shopify store making money?
